Hello Everyone! I’m Jessie Collins!
I am a Communication Design student at the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), minoring in Marketing through the Lindner College of Business.
I aspire to use my human-centered visual design and critical thinking knowledge to solve problems and improve lives. My ability to adapt, be flexible, be innovative, notice small details, and communicate effectively will benefit me in my professional career. I am excited about where the journey in communication design has taken me thus far. Between my time in school and getting real-life experience, I have developed a passion for UX, UI, and motion design. As I grow as a designer, I want to continue to sharpen my skills and become inspired and be a part of the ever-changing design community.
While design tends to be the focus of my time, I balance my life with other activities that also make me happy. I value quality time with my family and friends and always want to support them and be there whenever they need me. I also like staying active through fitness workouts, taking long walks, cooking new foods, practicing photography, and traveling to new places. In fact, traveling worldwide as well as studying abroad have given me a unique perspective, allowing me to bring diverse and innovative solutions to my designs. All the activities I enjoy reflect my lively personality and love for adventure.
